Industry Fund Financial Planning is a strong supporter of Too Young To Work projects for over eight years. We’re proud to be involved in a project combating child labour in India, while working hard to raise awareness about the problem. We feel great satisfaction knowing our donations are helping over 450 students in three schools every year lead a better, happier life saved from the horrors of child labour. Our relationship with Too Young to Work began with watching a simple DVD. It highlighted the work they did in India, showing the children that are helped by this fantastic charity. It made our decision to work with them easy, and we readily jumped on board to help out where we could.

We are now proud to be part of helping Too Young to Work build schools in India to get children out of child labour and into education.

CFMEU

For more than ten years the CFMEU has proudly funded the Too Young To Work campaign. Through this campaign we support schools that are based in communities where child labour is rampant and where the communities themselves have made the decision to pursue education as the only long term solution, to what they know is their unsustainable situation.

The education provided breaks the intergenerational cycle of child labour, poor education and life long poverty. We are delighted that the success of the schools has freed thousands of children and their families from the evil that is child labour. The campaign is an excellent example of the union principle of international solidarity in action.
